What to Bring

• Hiking boots or hiking shoes with thick soles – many of our trees and bushes have very large thorns, so it’s best to bring sturdy shoes with thick soles. Shoes such as Crocs, while fine for relaxing around camp, are not okay for walking around the reserve.

• A hoodie/romper/sweater/sweatshirt (whatever you call it where you are from) – though our days are often warm and sunny, our evenings are cool (even in summer). It’s a good idea to pack layers, just in case.

• Sunglasses

• Bathingsuit

• Hat with a brim

• Laundry bag (or something to put your laundry in for laundry day)

• Camera and extra batteries

• Adapter – our electricity is 220 voltage

• Plenty of sunscreen

• Bug repellant

• Torch (aka flashlight)

• Binoculars

• Chargers for all your electrical appliances
